It has a clear purpose, an audience that needs to be the whole world, and a beauty of prose and of Patti La Belle's singing within the terror of the content. When each of us finds what we have to say, what matters to us, what we have to offer the world to make it a better place, however difficult the message, then the writing that follows will always be worth reading.
